During the pandemic, the Faculty members never stop teaching and learning by either launching webinars or being speaker of E-learning sessions conducted by other institutions.

Faculty members received Health and Medical Research Fund (HMRF) by the Food and Health Bureau lately.

Professor Fan, Pui Luen, Honorary Associate Professor in Applied Oral Sciences & Community Dental Care retrospectively received the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) Dental Materials Group 2018 Peyton-Skinner Award for Innovations to recognize his research achievements.

Dr Phoebe Lam, MDS III student in Paediatric Dentistry, received the Morita Award for Best Research Poster at the 27th International Congress of International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD) which is the first time of a Faculty student to win this award at IAPD Congress. The winning poster is about the study* “Dental radiographic age assessment methods for living individuals”.

The journal articles contributed by Dr Prasanna Neelakantan, Clinical Assistant Professor in Endodontics, were ranked as the two of the top downloaded papers in the International Endodontic Journal.

The Faculty is committed to sharing oral health care information to the public, and one of the channels is to disseminate such knowledge via media.
