Professor Thomas Flemmig receives Gold Award of WARS from Mr Chong Chan Yau

Faculty Webpage Receives Gold Award of WARS

Professor Thomas Flemmig, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, received the Gold Award in Website Stream at the Awards Presentation Ceremony of Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme (WARS) 2020 – 2021 on 14 April 2021 at H6 Conet, The Center.

Professor Flemmig was pleased that the Faculty Webpage was recognised by WARS. “The Faculty is committed to fulfilling social responsibilities by not just providing excellent patient care and carrying out impactful community projects, but also delivering easy-to-use and easy-to-search online services complying legal requirement on protection against disability discrimination,” he said.

The Faculty is now revamping the webpage with an even better design. The user-friendly site will further contribute to building a caring and inclusive society. It is expected to launch by the fourth quarter this year. Stay-tuned!
